Educational tour organizers and evaluators are in need of a practical framework to evaluate tour programmes, but little research work has been carried out in this specific area. The present study provides not only a theoretical framework to benefit the education community, but also a practical framework for frontline practitioners to use. This Reflective Learning Taxonomy can also be employed by tour sponsors who may require a form of systematic evaluation to assess the success of tours.
